Booking Terms

Booking requests: We welcome requests for specific tables or areas however please be advised we are unable to guarantee. Table allocation is strictly at the discretion of the site on the day. On busier nights larger groups of 8 or more guests will be allocated seating AND standing space when booking a drinks area in the bar. If you require a whole table with seating for all guests, please contact us in advance to discuss. Requests for extensions to booking durations are welcome but are unable to be guaranteed.


Dress Code: The Palm House operates a casual dress code policy during the week. We request that guests do not wear tracksuit bottoms, hoods, caps, flip flops or sportswear. Any decision of admission will be entirely at the discretion of the management.


ID: We require valid photo identification from all guests. The Palm House has a zero tolerance policy with respect of harassment, violence or threatening behaviour. We operate a zero tolerance policy on illegal drugs with use or sale of illegal substances on the premises strictly forbidden. Any individual who is, or appears to be, intoxicated will be refused entry. CCTV is in operation throughout the premises.


Confirmation, Cancellation, Changes, Running Late: Please inform us at least 24 hours before your reservation should you wish to cancel or amend the number of guests within your party (please note – increases in party sizes are subject to availability). Cancellation charges will be applied where insufficient notice is provided or in the case of no-show. Please check your booking confirmations for details on the charges.

We are unable to accommodate multiple bookings of the same party on the same day. If you have more than one booking in the same or multiple names but are part of the same group only one reservation will be honoured. Please contact our team for further information.

Please ensure you AND your party arrive within 20 minutes of your booking time. After this time spaces will be opened to walk in guests on a first in, first serve basis. We will do our best to look after all your party but are unable to guarantee entry to guests arriving after this time. You will receive communication from us before your booking date to confirm you still require the booking. We politely ask for your co-operation in this process to allow us to re-allocate your table to guests on our waiting list if you no longer require the booking.


Last Orders: Last orders for the bar are called 15 mins before.


Responsible Behaviour: We want you to enjoy yourselves but ask you to drink responsibly and like there is a tomorrow! The Palm House reserves the right to refuse entry.

We reserve the right to request identification from you and your guests. If you are lucky enough to look under 25 you will be asked to prove that you are aged 18 or over when you buy alcohol. If you are under 18 you are committing an offence if you attempt to buy alcohol for you or someone else. Any person found either possessing, using, or distributing any type of drug will be ejected immediately and reported to the police. This will result in the individual being banned from the venue indefinitely.

Except for birthday cakes, The Palm House does not permit the consumption of any food or drinks that have purchased offsite. The venue takes no responsibility for any allergens regarding birthday cakes, the responsibility is with the host to ensure their guests are notified should any member of their party have specific dietary requirements.

The Palm House will do their best to locate and return items of lost property however no responsibility is taken.

Acts of bullying, abuse/aggression or harassment towards staff or other guests will not be tolerated.

By entering the venue you consent to the possibility of being photographed or filmed by our Social Media team, or by photographers and videographers acting on behalf of the venue. These images and videos may be used online and in print for the purposes of promoting the venue.
